INTRODUCTION TO THE TEAM

THE CAPTAIN

Captain Lim has twenty years experience in the marine industry. He has extensively cruised the Andaman sea. He offers an enthusiasm that blends well with the positive attitude of the entire crew. As the Captain, he takes great pride in creating tailormade yacht experiences for each charter. He works closely with his guests to ensure that all of their needs and wants are met. His love for cruising provides Lim with the passion to research and organise all kinds of activities for the enhancement of the onboard experience. Lim will ensure that your experience on board Maha Bhetra will be a truly memorable one.

STEWARD

Dam always strives to provide the highest level of service for guests, combining his hospitality skills with enthusiasm & drive. He brings any skills to the table, including fine dining, event and excursions planning. Even themed nights are all part & parcel of Dam’s repertoire, ensuring the right atmosphere & level of service is always met for each client. Dam is happy when he sees that the guests are sad to leave as he knows he has done a fantastic job. He has a great character and provides a presence on the yacht that keeps everyone at ease.

DECK HAND

His passion for the ocean, along with a natural ability to deliver an exceptional level of service, makes the perfect blend as Witt is fortunate enough to combine work & play and jumps at any excuse to trawl a lure or to take guests fishing utilizing his experience and passion for big game fishing.

CHEF

For the last 25 years Kate has worked on Maha Bhetra where her knowledge of local provisioning & availability of produce has been  invaluable in offering inspirational dining experiences to meet a wide range of dietary requirements. Kate has a fabulous creative side and will make any special occasion or dinner extra memorable with her fun flare. She ensures an elegant onboard dining experience in a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. Kate style would best be described as someone who certainly embraces the classics of Thai Food, but she likes to adapt to any special requirement’s, dietary or personal. Not only her food will have you excited before you lift your fork, but her combination of the freshest produce and flavours will leave even the most discerning palate highly satisfied.

ENGINEER

He has a great passion for the sea and fishing. Laem is great tender driver has an unflappable character and a genuine kindness…we know  that we are always safe with Laem is around! Onboard his main duties and responsibilities are the safe operation and preventative  maintenance of the yacht, machinery and all associated onboard systems.
